Produced on the Farm began with a simple vision. We started our journey towards homesteading years before we knew there was a name for the changes we were making in our life. Our family's goal was to become more aware of the things we were putting into our bodies, and eat and live healthier. Along the way, we learned to do a lot more things for ourselves. We learned to cook healthier, and "homemade" not only saved money, it tasted better and was better for you. As we continued our journey, it occurred to us that we could share some of the basic homemade things we make or grow for ourselves by just increasing the batch size or yield.
That is what we do at Produced on the Farm. We make more of what we already make for ourselves and provide it to you.

In 2014, we bought our first two Jersey Heifers. Diane had wanted us to try Raw Milk and once we had, we were hooked. Our journey went from a meandering stream to a roaring river and has changed us forever. Since then, we have discovered so much. About cows, and raw milk and all of the wonderful products you can make from this gift we receive twice daily from our cows. About ourselves, and our purpose, and about how far we can push ourselves, both our minds and bodies.
We create and maintain an intimate bond between our cows and our family.
No matter how a cow arrives to our farm, either from another farm, as a rescue from a commercial dairy, or born here, they are here for life. All of our cows start their life with us wearing a halter and are taught barn manners and introduced to the milking process. This is accomplished with patience and love; never pushing her beyond her comfort level. This may take a single day or weeks, but it has never failed. Our milking girls graduate from the halter to the neck collar, an indication that they are choosing to willing participate in the milking process. A collar offers very little control over a 1000 to 1600 pound animal, and that is the point to the collar. They come to the barn when called by name, walking, skipping, or running. Each girl knows the routine, and are excited to be milked. If it sounds like a happy place, it is...and by design. We all work together to bring our friends and customers the highest quality raw milk and udder products you'll find anywhere.

Jesus Christ is the Lord of our Farm and our Family. Luke 10:27 tells us to Love God and love your neighbor. This is our only creed.
